Congratulations! If you have reached this point, you must be in love - what a wonderful feeling. If you are planning to propose but are unsure about your partner's ring style, our Proposal ring might interest you. It can ease your burden while providing you both with a memorable experience.

Our proposal ring is a temporary silver ring that holds your chosen engagement gemstone. This enables you to choose and propose with the main gemstone that your partner will wear forever but relieves you from making all the decisions concerning the ring design. Purchase our Proposal ring and the gem of your choice, and we will set your gem in this elegant semi-temporary ring. You can then propose, and your partner can wear the ring containing the gem you have chosen right away. After the proposal, you can then both be involved in choosing your partner's forever ring from our collection of pre-made designs or speak with our qualified jewellery designers to commission a bespoke piece.

Our proposal ring has a fixed price of $550; however, you will also receive a $150 gift voucher that can be used to create the final engagement ring. The Proposal ring will be custom-made to fit the gemstone and your chosen ring size from responsibly sourced sterling silver. Our proposal rings are covered by our lifetime manufacturing warranty, however, silver is softer than metals like white gold, so the ring will wear faster and should only be used temporarily until the forever ring can be arranged. Our proposal rings are customized to your gemstone for a perfect fit, so you can choose any shape and size gem/diamond.

Currently, this Create Your Ring online tool only includes colourless diamonds. If you would prefer a coloured gemstone, salt and pepper or fancy diamond as your centrepiece, please pick the ring style you like by clicking on Buy Setting Only. This will add the ring to your cart. Then, you can browse our Gemstones and add the piece you like to your cart. Both the ring and the gemstone will be in your cart, ready for payment. 

Completion is 6-8 weeks from payment being made. Once completed, you can opt for your ring to be express-posted to your preferred destination (fully insured and at no cost), or you can pick it up from our retail store. For our Proposal rings, we offer a complimentary resize within the first two weeks of ownership, two sizes up or down, depending on the design. If the ring to be resized is beyond these specifications, we will provide alternative options for you.

Proposal rings are a great opportunity to reduce some of the stress around this exciting time and importantly provide you with the opportunity of surprising your partner while including them in the design process of their forever ring. Shapes - While the main stone in the images is an oval diamond please dont let this restrict you when choosing the main stone for your ring. This ring design suits most gemstone shapes and especially looks great with an oval, cushion or emerald cut main stone. The gemstone just needs to fit within the weight range we have suggested above, its rare for there to be an extra charge for a different shape gemstone as long as it suits four claws.

Design alterations - If you would prefer differently shaped claws or any other small alterations, please contact us with a brief description of your requirements and one of our team will be in touch. If you're interested in a more personalized, custom design, our Bespoke Design experience might be just the thing. Bespoke design does take extra time though and this ring design has been carefully chosen by our team and is a proven favorite, a classic. 

For reference, the central stone in the images 1.5ct, in weight. Rings created here online are personalized by your choices and custom-made for you. As such the images we have provided are high-quality digital 3D renderings, near-perfect representations of what your ring will look like. Please keep in mind all gemstones differ slightly in tone, and have natural inclusions. Your ring will also be assembled, set, and finished by hand, giving it the small variations we expect from finely handcrafted items.
