Product imagery
We want you to know exactly what you’re looking at. Here’s the plain truth about which of our images are photographs of a real piece, and which are digital representations of a piece yet to be made.
Ready to wear
Pieces you can buy now
If a piece is available to buy and ship, what you see is what you get.
The actual piece
Every product photograph of a ready-to-ship or in-stock piece is a genuine photograph of the physical item — the exact one that will arrive at your door. Not a render, not a recreation.
When someone is wearing it
Some images show a piece being worn. These are AI-generated: we give the AI a real photograph of the actual piece along with a prompt, and it recreates the piece on a model. So an on-model image is a representation, not a photograph — which is why we always include real photographs of the item itself alongside them. Those photographs are the true record of what you’ll receive.
Custom & made to order
Pieces not yet made
For custom, bespoke and Design Library pieces, there’s no photograph to show yet — the piece hasn’t been made. So we show you a preview instead.
Precise 3D models
Computer-aided design models that show the proportions, setting and design details accurately, so you can see the structure of the piece before it’s made.
How it will look
AI-assisted and photorealistic previews that show how your finished piece is intended to appear. They’re made to be as true as possible to the final handcrafted result, to help you settle your design with confidence.
A preview is a guide, not a photograph
These are digital representations of a handcrafted piece that doesn’t exist yet. Every piece is finished by hand, and natural stones vary, so small differences between the preview and the finished piece are part of what makes it yours. Your finished piece will correspond to the design specifications you approve.
Your rights
Australian Consumer Law
What we stand behind
Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods must match their description and any sample or demonstration model, and representations about them must not be false or misleading. For a ready-to-wear piece, the item you receive will match its photographs. For a custom or made-to-order piece, your finished jewellery will correspond to the design specifications and preview you approve. If a piece doesn’t match its representation as set out here, you’re entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law — repair, replacement or refund, as appropriate.
Not sure what you’re looking at?
If you’re ever unsure whether an image is a photograph of the real piece or a design preview, just ask. We’re always glad to clarify or send more photographs of any item.
