Edith - Australian Green Sapphire & Lab Diamonds

Bold, luminous and quietly powerful — Edith is a modern heirloom inspired by the pioneering Australian scientist Edith Emily Dornwell, the first person to graduate in science from the University of Adelaide. Like her namesake, this ring represents intelligence, strength and a spirit of discovery.

At its heart sits a remarkable 3.67ct untreated Australian sapphire from the legendary fields of Rubyvale, Queensland. Cut into a soft cushion shape, the sapphire reveals deep forest-green tones with flashes of ocean blue that shift beautifully in the light.

Flanking the centre stone are two elegant half-moon diamonds, their graceful curves embracing the sapphire and amplifying its brilliance. Together they form a classic trilogy design — symbolising past, present and future.

The gemstones are set in rich 18k solid Australian gold, responsibly sourced and meticulously crafted in our Adelaide studio. Sculptural claw settings allow light to flow through each stone while keeping the design refined and wearable for everyday life.
