We love colourful gemstones and this has to be one of the brightest natural sapphires we've ever seen. Its so bright its playing tricks with our camera. We'll add some images in natural light soon which should give a better representation of how it looks in person. In person it is stunning.

Generally red saphires are named rubies, however as you can see this is a very different orangy red and its known as red sapphire. Red sapphires are far more rare than rubies.
