A lovely evenly coloured Australian green sapphire. Evenly coloured green sapphires are rare and perfectly suited to the emerald cut faceting style. This piece was orientated and cut to perfection by Scott Langford in South Australia. When light reflects off the rear pavilion facets you are gifted wonderful bright green flashes of light.

Sapphires are the second hardest natural gemstone after diamond. Hardness is very important if the piece is to be worn daily, as in the case with an engagement ring. Sapphires are one of the few gemstones suitable for this purpose and Australian sapphires are some of the worlds best.
