Lynn Wedding Ring – Twisted Braided Band
- Sourced Responsibly
Our Lynn Ring features an elegant twisted band design that creates a continuous braided pattern around the entire circumference. The smooth, flowing curves catch light beautifully while maintaining a timeless, sophisticated appearance. With its comfort-fit interior and perfectly balanced proportions, this ring sits naturally on the finger and is ideal for everyday wear. The seamless twisted design symbolises the interconnected nature of life itself.

+ Australian Gold. Locally sourced from a Responsible Jewellery Council Member. Recycled is good, but we believe responsibly mined is a better option for the planet. Read our article 'Why responsibly sourced gold creates lasting change: Beyond recycled gold'
Or our page 'Our Gold', which contains more information about the gold we use and why. We also support Fairtrade gold and Fairmined gold, and if you would prefer either of these over Australian gold (there is a cost increase over Australian gold), contact us and we can forward you a quote.
+ Premium quality alloys. White gold alloys vary considerably; make sure yours is premium. Our 'Our Gold' page contains additional information about our premium alloys, particularly white gold.
This collection has been named after the visionary Lynn Margulis, an evolutionary biologist who revolutionised our understanding of how life develops and thrives through cooperation. Born in 1938, she challenged the scientific establishment with her endosymbiotic theory, proposing that complex cells evolved when different microorganisms merged together in mutually beneficial relationships. Initially met with scepticism and rejection, her persistence and rigorous research eventually proved that mitochondria and chloroplasts were once independent bacteria that became permanent partners within our cells. Margulis demonstrated that collaboration, not just competition, drives evolution, showing how separate entities can come together to create something stronger and more beautiful. Her groundbreaking work earned her the National Medal of Science in 1999 and fundamentally changed how we understand the interconnected web of life on Earth.
This piece is part of our Design Library. The design is reproducible; your commission will be hand-finished in our Adelaide studio with the stone and metal you choose. Some imagery on this page is AI-assisted visualisation used to show how the design can be interpreted across different stones — every finished piece is handcrafted to your approved specifications.
