1.04ct Australian Sapphire, Green, Teal - Kite

A stunning Australian green sapphire in a striking shape. This sapphire slightly colour changes with mixes of green, teal, and lime depending on the light source and angle. Unfortunately, the video taken with our DCLR outdoors has made the sapphire appear very yellow. This is an issue we have with some Australian green sapphires. In person the colour is far greener or more of a green-teal. It was expertly cut in Australia with correct proportions so you see colour right in the center. Often kites are cut too deep or more commonly too shallow and the colour is not well dispersed throughout the gemstone. In this case the cutter has taken extra time and care making this a very pretty piece.
