This beautiful Australian Emerald has even colour throughout, a crisp, bright and light green. For an Australian emerald this piece has few inclusions, and its faceting proportions are near perfect, reflecting bright flashes of light back to your eye.

There are a few small black inclusions that can be seen when the emerald is moving in the video, however the black reflections you see in the images and video are actually the camera reflecting back into the stone and are not visible in person.

There are no commercial emerald mines active, so any that are available have been found by fossickers or are from old collections like this piece of Australian history.
