Our Marie Ring (named after Marie Curie and her pioneering discoveries in radioactivity) features an elegant, flowing design with graceful, curved lines that create a sophisticated, asymmetrical silhouette. In 1911, Marie won her second Nobel Prize, this time in Chemistry, for discovering radium and polonium—making her the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields. During World War I, she developed mobile X-ray units called "Little Curies" that helped save countless soldiers' lives. Her pioneering work laid the foundation for modern cancer treatments using radiation therapy and opened entire new fields of nuclear physics and chemistry.
