At its centre rests a pale blue topaz from O’Brians Creek in far-north Queensland, cut in a traditional high rose-cut style that echoes early hand-cut gemstones designed to glow in candlelight. Surrounding it is a halo of vivid blue sapphires from Rubyvale, each step-cut to reveal the crisp, unmistakable blues that made the Gemfields famous throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
But Indigo is more than a ring — it is a living object, designed to evolve with its wearer.
The halo is crafted in oxidised sterling silver, intentionally finished in a deep charcoal patina. This darkened surface will naturally soften, brighten, and wear away in places as the ring is worn.
