Parti Sapphire, Hidden Halo - Nova Collection

With a lovely mix of colour and sparkle, our Nova ring is sure to impress. The main stone is a wonderful Australian parti sapphire that features blue and yellow that mixes to create flashes of bright teal. The delicate under halo adds some lovely diamond details completing this interesting design. 

A parti sapphire is one that contains a number of different colours within the same gemstone. These are said to be partitioned within the gemstone, hence the word parti. In the case of a blue and yellow Australian parti sapphire the blue section of the sapphire would have grown first and contains a high percentage of titanium, and the yellow colour is created by the addition of iron.

Our Nova collection is named after the sudden appearance of bright light from a "new" star, in turn this astronimical event is named from the Latin for new which is Nova. When viewing our Nova ring top down you will only see the main stone, the diamond halo is completely out of view. However, as your viewing angle changes, as the ring moves, the Nova, the bright new light explodes from the diamond halo.
