A lovely hand-made solitaire Pebble ring featuring a hot pink Tanzanian Sapphire. The Pebble has an organic texture that reflects off the highly polished band. This is a special sapphire mined by the now-closed Rubyfair a business set up to mine rubies and sapphires in Tanzania in an ethical way. Most of the gemstones from this deposit were heavily included with large black inclusions. This piece is one of the nicest that was mined, with a bright and strong colour. Fully certified by Spectra as untreated.

Extra notes: Rubies are very rare and the few the places they are mined have a poor history of human rights and environmental protection. Rubyfair was created to provide the world with rubies mined with strict social and environmental policies in place. Everybody in the supply chain was paid fairly and miners received adequate health and Safety equipment. The Rubies were also faceted in Tanzania to make sure as much of the profits stayed in the country of origin
