1.39ct Australian Parti Sapphire, Green, Blue and Teal colours, Hexagon
Parti hex sapphire so many great things in one gemstone, cut to perfection by the master cutters at Langford Gems. This is an exceptionally clean gemstone with no eye visible inclusions at all.
Hexagons are popular at the moment, just ask Lamborghini! And its because its such a pleasing shape to the eye. They are versatile too, looking great as a solitaire or equally at home in a trilogy ring or diamond halo. They are very sparkly too, I love them set in matte metal, it really brings out the crisp lines in the gem.
Sapphires are the second hardest natural gemstone after diamond. Hardness is very important if the piece is to be warn daily, as in the case with an engagement ring. Sapphires are one of the few gemstones suitable for this purpose and Australian sapphires are some of the worlds best. If this sapphire is not exactly what you are after or if you have other requests please contact us as we have a vast collection and a wonderful group of miners who toil day in day our looking for more of these enchanting and enduring crystals.

The last photo above may look less sparkly, thats because its a view looking through the rear of the stone. We offer this photo as an opportunity to look right into the gemstone, this helps determine colour saturation, colour changes within the crystal, growth lines and inclusions. Transparency is important for crystals and gemstone descriptions.

If you choose to take the piece loose or view it in your own home before returning for manufacturing it will come beautifully packaged in a sustainably grown timber gem box. Some of our customers have actually proposed this way, with the loose gem in our nice box. Then both partners can be involved in the design and manufacturing of the piece. A thoughtful way to start the next chapter of your lives together.
